Established informally in 2011 as a "Multi-Disciplinary Design Firm," we have been shaping spaces through our core expertise in Master Planning, Landscape Design, Architectural Design, Interior Design and Product Design. We believe in pushing the boundaries of traditional design and extending our services to related fields such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design and Branding & Identity creation.

At our core, we view design as a collaborative effort, involving all stakeholders in the project. Our design process is characterized by self-realization and a departure from preconceived ideas, allowing projects to evolve organically as they progress. Embracing the concept of temporariness, we explore how spaces can transform under various contexts, offering multiple uses and extending their utility. With each project, we approach it as a fresh start, striving to understand our client’s needs and aspirations. The Office Philosophy

We love good design and the liberty which comes with being in the creative field. We believe that Design is a complex, funny, idiosyncratic field where you hear everyone’s opinions, but you are bold enough to make choices, that you believe in. We are like this only! Design is but a collaborative process. We hub net-work with the best people in the market and time has been our biggest tester.

Our Workplace

Etagi Design Collaborative Office is located in the older locality of Kumara Park West in central Bangalore. We are housed in one part of a 65-year-old building, of which the layout and most original materials have been consciously retained and repurposed.

We have created a welcoming office space that balances professionalism and comfort… offering a seamless transition between work and relaxation through thoughtful design and functionality… to enhance the overall experience for both people working here and our visitors.

The Office also has a Library and a Construction Material Resource Facility. Statutory and Legal Compliance is something we have always focused on. All software we use for work are licensed with the latest supporting hardware. A small charming outdoor garden adds to the Office and has places to sit, unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Our Team

Principal Architect & Designer

Prashanth Nandiprasad, founder of Etagi Design Collaborative, has cultivated a lifelong passion for architecture and design since his upbringing in Bangalore. Raised in a family of architects, he was immersed in a creative environment from an early age, sparking his fascination with the applied arts.

After earning his Bachelor of Architecture from RV College of Architecture, Prashanth pursued his passion at IIT Bombay, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Design with a focus on Industrial Design. With a solid foundation in architectural principles and design methodologies, he embarked on a career spanning over two decades.

Prashanth's professional journey includes diverse projects and teaching roles. As a Visiting Faculty Member at RV College of Architecture, he shared his knowledge with aspiring architects and ran an independent Product Design Elective Studio for over thirteen years. His commitment to education extends to his role as an External Advisory Expert for RV University's School of Design & Innovation.

In 2011, Prashanth fulfilled his dream of establishing Etagi Design Collaborative. Guided by his dedication to design excellence and client satisfaction, EDC has become synonymous with originality and creativity in the architectural - design realm. Today, Prashanth leads EDC with a steadfast vision, infusing each project with his unique blend of creativity, expertise and commitment to excellence.
